A first-of-its-kind chatbot called Healthy has been created in Bulgaria, which is an artificial intelligence that serves as a reminder for preventive check-ups and medical tests. This innovative software robot was created by a Bulgarian e-commerce company and online agency and is completely free.
The Healthy project continues to be developed and improved continuously, with its functionalities still evolving. In the near future, it is planned to become a full-fledged mobile application that will be an integral part of our daily lives. The developers of this free service hope to attract around 10,000 Bulgarians to the idea of health prevention by the end of 2018.
The idea for Healthy originated in the middle of last year in Bulgaria. Although the idea is new and there are no ready prototypes to take inspiration from, we are still developing the project. We are proud to be pioneers in this field and we are glad that other Bulgarian companies are supporting us in digitizing this important field – the health of us all, said Alexandra Ruseva, owner and manager of Digilab.bg. Healthy provides users with information on 11 essential medical check-ups relevant to them and can send reminders to have them done at certain times if they wish. Since its launch in mid-December, over 4,000 people have already used Healthy’s services and describe it as a much more effective tool than traditional email or SMS reminders.
The development of Healthy is the result of the hard work of two teams led by Alexandra Ruseva and Rositsa Karadzhova. Both of them believe that new technologies can be of great help to anyone who wants to take care of their health but for some reason misses important annual check-ups and examinations.
Project Healthy is an ongoing project in continuous development and improvement. The plan is to develop additional features and turn it into a full-fledged mobile app that will become an integral part of people’s daily lives. The developers of this free service aim to attract around 10,000 Bulgarians to the idea of health prevention by the end of 2019.
